[ at dusk nearby the apartments tonight, there is a small stall, lit up by lanterns outside an in behind the curtains covering the inside. a delicious smell comes off of it, and the coast seems to be clear around the stall. as the sun sets further, the light inside illuminates the shape of a small person... or creature, judging by the tall ears on top of its head.

[He's been in Jigoku for six months now and his relationship with food has changed from 'genuine enjoyment' to 'functional necessity'. All the same, as he draws closer and closer to the stall his mouth fills with saliva. Being able to smell it through the mask is impressive, but it's so good.

[ inside is a small kitsune, cooking udon all on its own, various lanterns and talismans are hung up around the stall, and chairs are set up as well. when she notices them, she'll pause from her work and bow her head, hopping up on a little stand so she would be able to see them both properly. ]

[His mouth drops open as he follows Garry inside and catches sight of the kitsune. He's seem some weird things here, but this is a little - well, it's all been gross stuff. This thing is actually kind of cute, and - and that smell...]

[ she stirs a mixture of the broth, and hefts a big sake bottle up onto a little shelf with ease. she cuts some aburaage with a knife, and speaks as she does. ]

[ she seems unswayed, and puts some fresh noodles into the boiling water in front of her for less that a minute, before putting them in the bowl of broth with some spinach and soaked aburaage. also you're not getting her trade secrets, she ignores the second question. ]

[ Garry's voice is high as he speaks, face practically covered by his entire hand. ]
