001
[action; apt 301]
Predictably, or maybe not so predictably for those who don't know him, when Sakuya wakes up and takes stock of his surroundings he panics, spits out the candy in his mouth(a stranger putting things in his mouth?!), and makes a squawking noise, tumbling off the bed that has been most generously provided. He'd gone to sleep in his lovely mansion, then woken up in a dingy apartment, a filthy bed, and an awful, foreign, unfamiliar simian body! When he stands, wobbling uncertainly, he notes that his pristine white suit(which he does have to admit is quite nice) has become dirty, either from the bed, falling onto the floor, or both. Muttering a few curses under his breath, he begins to dust himself off, though he quickly starts to realize that this won't be nearly enough.
Once he spots the computer, he makes a beeline for it.
[There is a very angry looking blue-haired teen in the video, looking as though he's about ready to break something.]
I demand to know what kind of foolishness this is! I slept in my own bed last night and I wake up to this filth?! This is unacceptable! I don't know who will see this, but for those who do, I expect a full explanation!

[Because, Sakuya, your permission is the most important thing.]
Anyway, it's unthinkable that there wouldn't be some information out there. You just haven't found it.
[It's enough to get him to scale back a bit, at least. Sakuya is still vainly trying to dust off his coat]
Ghosts, though? they can kidnap people?
[Honestly he's not quite sure how he feels about ghosts right at this second but he'll roll with it for now.]
Apparently. We're here right now, so I'd give it a yes.
I don't got a clear number, I'm still pretty new here myself. Far as I've seen only a handful of folks are here.
[action]
So it's not long before he kicks down his own bedroom door and steps through into the sitting room, axe in his hands and gas mask on his face, looking for all the world like some kind of crazed murderer.
What a great first meeting! Literally the only saving grace to this is that he lowers the axe in confusion at the sight of Sakuya at the computer.]
... You... are remarkably clean for a ghost.
[action]
I'm no ghost, villain! Stay back or you will feel the full force of a Le Bel!
[Some habits die hard, especially in a surge of adrenaline. He'll be mortified by it later.]
[action]
[Panic winds down to an amused, but still on edge, understanding. A newcomer. Whew. So much easier.]
[action]
And just who are you, to come barging in like this?
Re: [action]
I'm the Once-ler! You've probably heard of me - founding father of the thneed? And you woke up in my apartment here, so I should be the one asking that question, really. But I'll let it slide! I know you just showed up there, like I did a couple of months back. You sure you don't want to sit down, get your bearings?
[He's slipping into chattering business man mode, barely giving Sakuya a chance to nip a word in edgewise until he's done.]
[action]
[He doesn't have his usual feathers but Sakuya does a pretty good job of flaring up anyway, which is impressive considering overall he's not very big.]
[action]
Anyway, has anyone told you about this place yet? Tape, locations, etc?
[action]
[Really it's only appropriate that the Once-ler be the one to explain all of this nonsense to him. Hmph.]
[action]
[He takes a seat on the sofa and pulls his red tape off of his wrist.] Okay, first of all, you got this? It's important, and you're gonna need it. Second, I'm sorry I scared you, but I thought you might have been something else. When you've been here a while, you'll get to that stage too.
[action]
What dies it do, exactly? And what in the world did you think I was?
[action]
[A sigh. He scruffs his hair and slips the roll back over his wrist.]
The tape keeps them out. You put it around the doors, the windows, the cracks on the walls... [He points to each in turn where, sure enough, they're all bound up.] It keeps the worst of them out.
[action]
[His voice is growing more and more disbelieving by the second.]
[action]
[He sounds a little irritated, but takes a breath and tries to calm himself again.]
The worst ones are some kind of cat monster. White robed figures with hair falling down over their faces... they're pretty bad too. And there's a thing on the stairwell.
[action]
[He is taking mental notes, toying with the roll of tape in his hands. It's odd to have hands, but thumbs are wonderful.]
[action]
[action]
Like the Scarecrow... are all of the things here ghosts?
[action] wupps html in the last one
[video]
It happened again? Oh dear...
I'm sorry, mister, but you've been kidnapped by ghosts, just like the rest of us.
[He sounds more annoyed than frightened... that will have to come in time.]
Hatchlings?
I'm usually a dove. I can't begin to fathom why I was changed into this thing upon arrival.
But of course. It is a noble's responsibility to keep himself presentable and properly groomed at all times.
video;
B.. bully..! T-there's a bully..!
video;
[Really not helping your case, Sakuya.]

[ She disappears off the screen entirely.. well, not entirely, it can be seen that she's actually huddling on the ground in fear now, covering her head with her hands as if he won't be able to see her anymore that way. ]

Ey ey, slow down cowboy. Your shouting is difficult to understand, si? [Says the boy who's English is worse than the amazing Bobinsky's]

Why, where you you from with all of this shouting?
no subject
I am French, though I have been in Japan for the past few months.

I've spent some time in France. In Metz. This place is no France, though. Have you been told what you should do?
no subject
, as one might be able to tell by his amazingly French name.]I've been told there are violent ghosts and that I should use red tape to keep them from getting through cracks in the walls and doorways... I thought ghosts could just phase through walls, though, so shouldn't everything be covered in tape if it hinders them so much?
no subject
I am sorry to say this is true. I didn't believe it myself at first but we're stuck here, and it ain't pretty. Although... Yeah, why it is they can't come through the walls I don't know.
[Her brows are a little pinched as she watches him, her ears flicking forward as she studies him with one eye. The other is hidden by a heavy gauze pad that covers quite a bit of the left side of her face.]
But seriously, I know it's hard but you've got to tone it down on the yelling, it'll attract their attention.
Apes and mutts, everywhere around here... but that's not important, I suppose. Who's they?
