[ at dusk nearby the apartments tonight, there is a small stall, lit up by lanterns outside an in behind the curtains covering the inside. a delicious smell comes off of it, and the coast seems to be clear around the stall. as the sun sets further, the light inside illuminates the shape of a small person... or creature, judging by the tall ears on top of its head.

[Viola smiles and drops the hairband into the fox's paw. She reaches up to undo her second braid, since having just one on the side of her face would look a little silly.]

[ she prepares a bowl of kitsune udon for her, and hands it over. ]

[He accepts it but doesn't start eating right away.]

[Viola accepts the bowl and the chopsticks eagerly enough. The smell is so enticing.]

[She dips her head to raise the spoon up to sample the broth. Finding she likes the flavour, she begins to dig in with her chopsticks.]

Well, we're not dating! Wouldn't you get shy if you kept being told you were on a date when you're not?

[He doesn't sound too fussed about that part of it, if truth be told.

The smell of the soup is almost too much, though.]

[ she levels Once-ler with a disapproving look before reaching over with some chopsticks and giving Garry a few fishcakes. ]

[ Garry just nods and smiles in his thanks - he gives up on words for now. he knows he should be savouring this, but he's eating far too quickly. its way too good. ]

That's true... [She trails off of what she was going to say, her eyes growing wide. It isn't at all feigned, and she looks from her bowl to the fox with wonder.]

[He growls and snatches up his chopsticks. He's not great with them, so he has to fiddle a bit to fit his hand into the unfamiliar poise for them. Then he's got it, and he picks up a bit of the aburaage.]

[The smell is too good. He takes a bite, and his eyes go wide.]
