[ at dusk nearby the apartments tonight, there is a small stall, lit up by lanterns outside an in behind the curtains covering the inside. a delicious smell comes off of it, and the coast seems to be clear around the stall. as the sun sets further, the light inside illuminates the shape of a small person... or creature, judging by the tall ears on top of its head.

[ .. That voice. It sounds weird and it's an immediate reason for Peko to not entirely trust it. If anything, she tries to keep the boy behind herself a little when she hears it, her eyes narrowing a little as she looks at the stall.
