[ at dusk nearby the apartments tonight, there is a small stall, lit up by lanterns outside an in behind the curtains covering the inside. a delicious smell comes off of it, and the coast seems to be clear around the stall. as the sun sets further, the light inside illuminates the shape of a small person... or creature, judging by the tall ears on top of its head.

[She strokes her thumb down the backs of their hands.]

I am not the mother of these children. They have been separated from her to come here. [She lets go of their hands, but puts her own on their heads, smoothing their hair.]

Your food is probably not what I would normally eat. But I will take a bowl, if we can talk and show the children more things to experience.

You can't trade that! [She protests, then pushes her hand into her fleshy torso. She draws out a ring of keys with a wet squelch, and holds them out to the Kitsune.]

[ she seems like she wants to take the whole thing but... ]

[Visi fumbles with the ring of keys before drawing off two and giving them to the kitsune.]
